Where Waterview Street Begins

Image
Do you see the pretty lady in front of the water? Yes; that's right! That's your mommy when she came to visit Grandpa David and Leona on the island of Taiwan 5 years before you were born. The name of the water is Han River.      At the top of Waterview Street, there is a view of that water. It is where Waterview Street starts. You can see our street over Mommy's head where the river bends at the top of this photo but you have to look carefully. In the picture below you can see the building Mommy was standing on behind the trees on the right. Can you see it?       The water is in a river called Han River. In this picture, the workers almost stopped the river to build the bridge, but now the river is okay.        These are our cats on the patio of Renoir Castle. When you come visit us you will see them playing, sleeping, chewing plants and on the patio. The cats like to go outside after breakfast. I am your mommy's father; you can call me Grandpa David or Grandpa for short.      Let me tell you something about our castle. Our castle is a big house with many people living in it. Some of the people have names and others names I do not know. I know the people with names but the people whose names I do not know I know when I see them. Our castle has a name, too. It is called Renoir Castle. I do not know why it is called Renoir Castle so do not ask me why. How do I know that it is that name? Because it says so on the side of the castle.       Renoir Castle was made by some men and women that I do not know. They made it over many days, many years ago, long before anyone lived here, but it was here when
